Kelsey Creek Solar Farm – Design Agreement Advisory
Advised BayWa r.e. on its early design agreement for the 50 MW Kelsey Creek Solar Farm, managing the network connection interface with Ergon Energy. This included:
Drafting and negotiating connection terms under Queensland’s distribution network framework
Aligning technical design and compliance standards to ensure seamless transfer from solar PV output to Ergon’s local grid
Coordinating stakeholder engagement with Ergon Energy to address network capacity, protection systems, and future upgrade pathways
Assessing early-stage contractual provisions covering performance obligations, timelines, and design validation criteria
This support helped BayWa r.e. establish a solid foundation for the project’s network integration, facilitating project de-risking and compliance with regional energy regulations
